Private Music Tuition
The Music Department at Seton is committed to offering a high quality Music education with the support of our team of Peripatetic Tutors. We cater for those who have music experience and those who are keen to learn a musical instrument for the first time. We currently offer 1-1 tuition on the following instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vocals, Piano and Drums/Percussion. Students taking private tuition are encouraged to join one or more of the many ensembles on offer - Flute Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Classical Guitar Ensemble, Concert Band, Rock Bands and Choirs which are free of charge. Rehearsals take place before school, at lunchtimes or after school. Throughout the year there are a variety of performance opportunities where students can showcase their talent and skills as a soloist and/or part of one of the College ensembles.
